What this means: Any question about current events, recent breakthroughs, today's stock prices, this week's news, gives you outdated information.
Specific failure: You ask ChatGPT about a recent product launch. It doesn't know because it was released after its training data. It hallucinates details or tells you it doesn't have recent information.

Limitation Category 3, AI Can't Execute or Verify
AI can't actually do things in the real world. It can't click buttons, make phone calls, or check whether something actually works. It can only predict what should happen.
What this means: If you ask AI to write code, it writes code. Whether the code actually works? You have to run it and check. AI predicted what code should exist, not whether it works.
